Buying guide from Cornovo Auto. Confirm the final specification and commercial terms for your order with the sales team before approving production.
To prepare a private-label car care kit, define the products and quantities in each set, approve a sample of each item, and confirm the packaging artwork, labels and carton information. Agree on the complete packed sample before bulk production so the product specification and the retail presentation are checked together.
Start with a written kit specification
List each component by product name and reference. Record its material, size, colour and quantity per kit. If you need polishing pads, specify the intended machine and backing system instead of relying on diameter alone. For wash mitts and applicators, record the material and construction you want the sample to demonstrate.
| Order detail | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| Kit contents | Product reference, quantity per set, material, size and colour |
| Branding | Logo artwork, label placement and approved wording |
| Retail packaging | Individual bags or box, component arrangement and instructions |
| Identification | SKU references, barcode artwork and carton marks |
| Shipment | Sets per carton, carton dimensions, gross weight and destination |
Approve samples in two steps
- Product sample: compare the components with your written specification and test them for the intended use.
- Packed sample: review the assembled set, label position, artwork, instructions and protection inside the carton.
Keep photos and a dated record of the approved version. If a component or packaging layout changes, confirm which version will be used for production rather than relying on an earlier sample approval.
Separate sample timing from production timing
Ask for the sample cost and timing, minimum order quantity for each custom component, and the production lead time after approval. A stock product, a new label and a custom printed box may have different minimums and preparation requirements. Treat the final order quotation as the source for your project-specific terms.
Prepare for your sales channel
Share the current packing instructions supplied by your retailer, warehouse or marketplace. Confirm barcode placement, carton identification and any bundle requirements before printing. Marketplace rules can change, so an old packing example should not be treated as approval for a new shipment.
Send a useful RFQ
Include your company, destination, target quantity, component list, product references, logo requirements and launch timeline. Add your packaging brief or reference images when contacting sales. Cornovo Auto can then discuss the available products and packaging options for that brief.

Can the MOQ be assumed from one component?
No. Confirm the MOQ for the assembled kit and each custom packaging item. A component’s listed minimum does not establish the minimum for a complete private-label project.
